The men's 200-meter run at the 1962 European Athletics Championships was held from September 14 to 16, 1962 in Belgrade's Partizan Stadium .

European champion was the Swede Owe Jonsson . Second place went to Marian Foik from Poland . Bronze went to the Italian Sergio Ottolina.
