Grillenberger Basin

The Grillenberger Basin is a geomorphological basin in southern Lower Austria .

It extends from Berndorf to the south and is named after the village of Grillenberg , located in the municipality of Hernstein . The basin is a fertile plain that is damp and swampy in places and is traversed by the Veitsauer Bach, which pours into the basin at the southern end of the basin from the Grillenberger valley .
