The men's 10,000-meter run at the 1990 European Athletics Championships was held on August 27, 1990 in the Poljud Stadium in Split .
With gold and bronze, the Italian long-distance runners won two medals in this competition. European champion became the European Championship -Third of 1986 and Olympic silver medalist from 1988 Salvatore Antibo , five days later, about 5000 meters won. The Norwegian Are Nakkim came in second. Bronze went to defending champion Stefano Mei .
