The men's long jump at the 1990 European Athletics Championships was held on August 29 and 30, 1990 in the Poljud Stadium in Split .
The German long jumper Dietmar Haaf became European champion . He won before the Spaniard Ángel Hernández . Bronze went to the Yugoslav Borut Bilač .

doping
There was a bad mistake here. Borut Bilač was temporarily disqualified after an incorrect doping analysis, but received his bronze medal back in 1991.
Wind conditions

qualification
