The men's 3000 meter obstacle course at the European Athletics Championships in 1990 was held on August 28 and 30, 1990 in the Poljud stadium in Split .
In this competition there were two medals for the Italian obstacle course: gold and bronze. European champion was the vice European champion from 1986 , world champion from 1987 and vice world champion over 10,000 meters from 1987 Francesco Panetta . He won Mark Rowland ahead of the 1988 British Olympic third party . Bronze went to Alessandro Lambruschini .
