The men's triple jump at the 2012 European Athletics Championships was held on June 28 and 30, 2012 in the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital Helsinki .
European champion was the Italian Fabrizio Donato . Silver went to Scheryf El-Scheryf from Ukraine. The Belarusian Aljaksej Zapik won the bronze medal.

27 participants competed in two groups for the qualifying round. The qualification distance for the direct entry into the final was 16.75 m. Four athletes exceeded this mark (highlighted in light blue). The final field was filled with the eight athletes placed next to twelve jumpers (highlighted in light green). So finally 16.43 m had to be achieved to take part in the finals.
