Onochie Achike
Onochie Achike ( Onochie Lawrence "Larry" Achike ; born January 31, 1975 in the London Borough of Islington ) is a British triple jumper .
In 1994 in Lisbon he was Junior World Champion.
In 1998 he was eliminated from the qualification at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest and won for England starting at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur .
At the 1999 World Athletics Championships in Seville, he was eleventh, at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney fifth and at the 2001 World Cup in Edmonton seventh.
A preliminary round at the 2006 European Championship in Gothenburg was followed by a seventh place at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. In 2009 he failed in the preliminary round at the World Cup in Berlin, and in 2010 he finished seventh at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi .
In 1999 and 2003 he became English champion.
