Matthijs "Thijs" van Oers (born February 9, 1900 in Lage Zwaluwe ; † February 5, 1990 in Langeweg ) was a Dutch cyclist .

In 1932 Thijs van Oers became Dutch runner-up in road racing . The following year he won the title. He also won the first edition of the Eight van Chaam in 1933 . At the UCI Road World Championships in Leipzig in 1934 , he finished eighth.

Thijs van Oers was the father of Antoon van Oers, who won the Eight van Chaam in 1950. He died a few days before his 90th birthday.
