Klaas van Nek (born March 1, 1899 in Nieuwendam , † January 1, 1986 in Utrecht ) was a Dutch cyclist .

In 1916 Klaas van Nek became two-time Dutch road racing champion, both among the amateurs and the elite. Ten years later he was again Dutch road champion. In 1924 he also won the national championship title in the sprint on the track. He also started in 24 six-day races and won the one in Brussels in 1926 together with Piet van Kempen .

Klaas van Nek's four years older brother Piet was also a racing driver. He fell to his death in a stalker race in Leipzig in 1914 . Van Nek's nephew of the same name, also a racing driver, died together with two co-drivers in 1934 when his car collided with a steam tram . Only the year before he had suffered life-threatening injuries in a fall on the Amsterdam Velodrome.
