Jans Koerts

Jans Koerts (born August 24, 1969 ) is a former Dutch cyclist .

Jans Koerts celebrated his first major success in 1990 with a stage win on the Teleflex Tour . In the same year he was first in the overall ranking at the Saxony Tour . The next year he became a professional with the PDM-Concorde cycling team . Koerts celebrated his greatest success at the Vuelta a España 2000 with a stage win on the third section. In 2001 he won a stage near Paris-Nice and became Dutch road racing champion. Koerts has been driving for the Continental Team Time-Van Hemert since 2006 . In 2007 he confessed to years of doping with testosterone and EPO and ended his career.
