Cofidis is a French consumer bank.

Cofidis was founded in 1982 as a joint venture between the French mail order company 3 Suisses International and the credit bank Cetelem (now BNP Paribas Personal Finance SA). Cofidis specializes in consumer loans that are offered over the phone and the Internet.

In 2003, Crédit Mutuel Nord Europe and Cofidis founded the Créfidis joint venture . In 2004, Cofidis acquired a 66 percent stake in C2C , a financial services provider in the Camif Group.

Cofidis is based in Villeneuve-d'Ascq in the Nord department . Cofidis has around 3,100 employees.

The Otto Group has a 45.36 percent stake in Cofidis.

Cofidis is the main sponsor of the cycling team Équipe Cofidis .
