Sebastian Langeveld (born January 17, 1985 in Leiden ) is a Dutch road cyclist .

Athletic career

At the 2003 UCI Road World Championships in Hamilton , Langeveld was fourth in the junior road race . A season later, he was able to win a stage at the Fléche du Sud and the U23 competition from Paris – Roubaix . In 2005 he won a stage in the Olympia's Tour and became Dutch champion in the U23 class.

In 2006 Sebastian Langeveld became a professional with the Dutch cycling team Skil-Shimano . He was able to win his second professional race, the GP Pino Cerami . That year he finished second in the U23 class behind Lars Boom at the Dutch cross-country championships . He celebrated his greatest success so far in 2011 when he won the semi-classic Omloop Het Nieuwsblad . In 2012 he started in the road race at the Olympic Games in London and finished 74th. In 2014 Langefeld was the Dutch road racing champion. In 2016 he and his Cannondale-Drapac team won the team time trial of the Czech Cycling Tour . The following year he finished third at Paris-Roubaix .
