Jimmy Engoulvent (born December 7, 1979 in Le Mans ) is a former French cyclist .

Athletic career

Jimmy Engoulvent began his career as an elite cyclist in 2001. His greatest successes include overall victories at the Tour du Poitou Charentes in 2010 and the Quatre Jours de Dunkerque in 2012. He was a recognized prologue specialist and was able to compete in three international stage races , especially in 2010 win the prologue time trial each time. He won the prologue four times in the Tour of Luxembourg . By 2015 he started the Tour de France five times without reaching any of the top positions. In 2012 he was the last to finish the tour and therefore the carrier of the Lanterne Rouge . Engoulvent ended his cycling career at the end of 2015.
