Tour Ivoirien de la Paix
The Tour Ivoirien de la Paix is an Ivoirian road bike race.
The race was held for the first time in March 2008. Start and finish is Abidjan . The stage race is part of the UCI Africa Tour and is classified in category 2.1. The race is organized by the Association Sportive Côte d'Ivoire Environnement et Paix and the race director is Jean-Claude Hérault. The French ProTour driver Rony Martias was declared the premiere winner after the last stage had to be canceled due to heavy rain. According to the UCI annual calendar, another event is planned for 2011 from April 19 to April 24.

The tour led over 6 stages with a total of 797.3 km. The national teams from Ivory Coast , Burkina Faso , Cameroon , Egypt , Morocco , Eritrea , Gabon , Rwanda , Senegal and Tunisia , as well as the professional cycling teams from Crédit Agricole , Bouygues Telecom , Team LPR , Amore & Vita-McDonald’s and Elk Haus-Simplon took part .
