UCI Africa Tour

UCI Africa Tour logo

The UCI Africa Tour is the African road cycling calendar introduced by the UCI World Cycling Association for the 2005 season . Together with the other continental racing series ( UCI America Tour , UCI Asia Tour , UCI Europe Tour , UCI Oceania Tour ), it belongs to the UCI Continental Circuits below the UCI ProTour (since 2011: UCI WorldTour ) and the UCI ProSeries introduced for the 2010 season .

Teams

To the race of the UCI Africa Tour may - depending on the UCI category - UCI ProTeam , UCI Professional Continental Teams , UCI Continental teams , and participate in national, regional, club and African mixed teams. The first three African Continental teams of a fictional rankings calculated at the beginning of the season on the basis of the obligated drivers must be invited by the organizers of the races in the first and second categories.
