Stefan Rucker (born January 20, 1980 in Judenburg ) is an Austrian racing cyclist specializing in road cycling and mountain biking .

Life

Stefan Rucker was runner-up at the Austrian U23 championships in 2001 and joined the Austrian cycling team Elk Haus-Sportunion Schrems in 2002 . In 2002, the substance pseudoephedrine was detected in a doping test in Rucker's urine . Rucker was then banned for six months for "gross negligence in handling drugs". He achieved his only international success in road cycling in 2007 on a stage of the Tour Ivoirien de la Paix . In 2010 Rucker became Austrian mountain champion. He also participated several times successful in the mountain - stage race Crocodile Trophy .
