Svetlana Michailowna Kaikan ( Russian Светлана Михайловна Кайкан ; born August 6, 1978 in Chelyabinsk ) is a Russian speed skater .

The sprint specialist Swetlana Kaikan has been taking part in World Cup races since December 1998. At the World Cup final of the 2000/01 season in Calgary , she ran for the first time under the top 10 (9th place over 500 meters). In March 2002 she won a world cup race for the first time in Oslo . Her best placement in the overall World Cup was a fourth place on the 100-meter course in the 2005/06 season. She was Russian champion six times, runner-up five times and once third in Russian championships.

In 2002 she took part in the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City . She finished 10th over 500 meters and 23rd over 1000 meters.
