Rony Martias (born August 4, 1980 in Basse-Terre , Guadeloupe ) is a French cyclist .

Career

Rony Martias began his professional career in 2003 at Brioches La Boulangère . In the same year he was able to win the prologue of the Tour de la Guadeloupe . His team has been called Bouygues Télécom since 2005 and takes part in the UCI ProTour . At the Tour Down Under 2006 he was strong. Among other things, he was once third and once fifth. At the GP Internacional Costa Azul 2006 he finished seventh and won a stage of the Tour de Picardie . He also showed a strong performance on the 2006 Tour of Germany , finishing seventh on one stage and fourth on a fourth.
