Walter Proch
Walter Proch (born February 17, 1984 in Rovereto ) is a former Italian cyclist .
In 2006 Proch won the second stage at the Giro Ciclisto Pesche Nettarine di Romagna , a stage race on the Italian cycling calendar , and at the end of the season drove for the professional continental team Androni Giocattoli-3C Casalinghi as a stagiaire . In the seasons 2007 and 2008 he drove with a regular contract with the team LPR. In his second season there he was successful on a section of the Tour Ivoirien de la Paix , which gave him his only career win in an international race. He was also ninth overall on the Regio Tour . Until the end of his career at the end of the 2012 season, he rode with smaller cycling teams and was unable to achieve any special results except for sixth place in the one-day race Memorial Marco Pantani .
