Jules Nempon

Jules Nempon (born March 2, 1890 in Armbouts-Cappel , † June 7, 1974 in Saint-Omer ) was a French cyclist .

Between 1911 and 1928 Jules Nempon started ten times in the Tour de France . His best result was a tenth place in 1919 . But since only ten of the 67 drivers who had originally started arrived in Paris, he was also the last one to carry the red lantern . He was 21 hours, 44 minutes and twelve seconds behind the first-placed Firmin Lambot .
