The 57th Tour of Andalusia (officially: Vuelta a Andalucía Ruta Ciclista Del Sol ) was a cycling stage race in the autonomous community of Andalusia in Spain , which took place from February 20 to 24, 2011. It was held in five stages over a total distance of 680.6 kilometers. The race was part of the UCI Europe Tour 2011 and classified there in category 2.1.
The Spaniard Markel Irízar from the American team RadioShack won the overall standings with a one-second lead over the Belgian Jurgen Van Den Broeck ( Omega Pharma-Lotto ). Irizar's team-mate Levi Leipheimer was also just barely beaten in third place, two seconds behind.
