The BinckBank Tour (from 2005 to 2016: Eneco Tour , unofficially often Benelux Tour ) is a cycle race that is held annually as a stage race in the Netherlands and Belgium . The competition was a race of the UCI ProTour introduced in 2005 and has been part of the successor series UCI WorldTour since 2011 .
It was named after the Dutch energy supply company Eneco from 2005 to 2016 . Eneco was replaced in 2017 by the Dutch online broker BinckBank . In 2009, after a possible loss of the title sponsor, the race was to be named Benelux Tour instead of Eneco Tour . But since the sponsor extended its commitment, the name was retained.
The race replaced the Ronde van Nederland (Dutch Tour of the Netherlands) in 2005 . In addition, the Tour of Belgium will continue to be held.
The record winner of the event is Gerrie Knetemann , who has won the Tour of the Netherlands four times.
