Tour of Guangxi

The Tour of Guangxi (also: Gree-Tour of Guangxi ) is a Chinese road bike race . The stage race takes place in the autonomous region of Guangxi in southwest China and is also part of the UCI WorldTour .

The race took place for the first time in October 2017 and was the last race of the UCI WorldTour. It was launched in December 2016 by the World Cycling Association UCI and the Chinese company Wanda Group , which organizes triathlon competitions, among other things . After the last stage, the UCI gala is to take place, where the best cyclist will be honored.

The men's premier winner was the Belgian Tim Wellens . A one-day race was held for women in 2017. They drove a one-day race ahead of the men on the last stage . It was won by the Italian Maria Vittoria Sperotto .

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the 2020 event was initially postponed and finally canceled.
