The Wanda Group and Dalian Wanda Group ( Chinese  萬達集團  /  万达集团 , Pinyin Wanda Jituan ) is a Chinese company, which in 1988 by Wang Jianlin in Dalian in the province of Liaoning was established. The company is listed on the stock exchange and operates in the fields of real estate, luxury hotels, entertainment, internet, finance, tourism and retail.

The Wanda Cultural Industry Group claims to be China's largest cultural company. Annual revenues for 2013 were $ 4 billion. The firm includes a variety of entertainment companies, theme parks, travel companies, film production companies, and art investment firms.
Wanda is China's largest cinema chain with 1,657 screens in 187 cinemas. This business area also includes the global cinema chain AMC , the Australian cinema chain Hoyts , Sunseeker International and 20% of Atlético Madrid .

In 2015 Wanda bought the Swiss sports marketing company Infront Sports & Media and the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC: organizer of the Ironman competitions) for US $ 1.2 billion and US $ 650 million respectively . Infront and WTC have been combined under the umbrella of "Wanda Sports Holding" since the end of 2015. At the beginning of 2018, offers for an IPO in Hong Kong and America were obtained and these are now being evaluated.

In January 2016 Wanda acquired the majority in the US company Legendary Entertainment , the parent company of the film studio Legendary Pictures and the comic book publisher Legendary Comics, for 3.5 billion US dollars. On March 18, 2016, Wanda signed a contract with FIFA to sponsor the next four World Cups until 2030. This deal makes Wanda the first Chinese main sponsor of FIFA.

On December 9, 2016, Wanda signed a contract with Atlético Madrid , whose stadium has since been called " Wanda Metropolitano " (until 2017 "Estadio de la Comunidad de Madrid"). The Wanda Group already owns 20% of the Spanish football club.
