Safaa Al-Jumaili
Safaa Al-Jumaili (born January 1, 1990 in Diyala ) is an Iraqi weightlifter .
Career
Al-Jumaili was the Asian Junior Champion in 2009 and 2010. Among the active, he finished 20th at the 2009 World Championships and 17th at the 2010 World Championships in the class up to 77 kg. At the Pan-Arab Games in 2011 he won the bronze medal in the class up to 85 kg. In 2012 he finished fourth at the Asian Championships . In the same year he took part in the Olympic Games in London , where he reached 13th place. In 2013 he was runner- up at the Asian Championships . However, he was tested positive for stanozolol during the doping control and banned for two years. After his suspension, he finished sixth at the 2015 Asian Championships .
