The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race is an Australian road bike race .

The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race is a one-day race with start and finish in Geelong . The race is named after Cadel Evans , winner of the Tour de France in 2011 and the UCI Road World Championships in 2009 .

The men's race was included in the UCI Oceania Tour in 2015 and classified there in the hors category . In 2017 it became part of the UCI WorldTour .

The women's race has been part of the international cycling calendar since 2016. In the year it was first held in 2015, it was listed on the Australian cycling calendar.
