Werner Röken

Werner Röken (born February 26, 1917 in Gelsenkirchen , † 1972 ) was a German doctor and civil servant.

Life

Röken studied medicine at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen . In the summer semester of 1838 he was the comradeship leader of the SC comradeship "Theodor Körner". In 1942 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD. During the Second World War he was a military doctor. In the 1950s he worked for the Marburger Bund , the Westphalia-Lippe Medical Association and the Baden-Württemberg State Medical Association . In 1952 he was a German delegate to the World Medical Association . He was the first head of the foreign service of the newly founded German Medical Association under Hans Neuffer . In 1969 he received the Paracelsus Medal of the German Medical Association.
