Niccolò Bonifazio (born October 29, 1993 in Cuneo ) is an Italian racing cyclist .

Athletic career

After numerous successes in smaller Italian races and a stage win in the Canadian Coupe des Nations Ville Saguenay , Bonifazio drove as a stagiaire for the UCI ProTeam Lampre-Merida in the second half of the 2013 season . For the 2014 season he got a contract as an elite driver there and won a stage of the Tour of Japan as well as one of the three races of the Trittico Lombardo with the Coppa Agostoni .

In 2015 Bonifazio finished fifth at Milan – Sanremo , won the Gran Premio di Lugano and another stage of the Tour of Japan . In 2016 he won a stage of the Tour de Pologne and in 2018 the Tour of Croatia . In 2019 he won the overall classification at the Tropicale Amissa Bongo in Gabon , the points classification and three stages.
