Liane Lippert (born January 13, 1998 in Friedrichshafen ) is a German racing cyclist .
Athletic career
In 2008 Liane Lippert won her first bike race and drove for RSV Seerose Friedrichshafen during her time as a young rider . In the following years, among other things, she won the U15 classification of the mountain time trial Lightweight Uphill . In 2013 she became a member of the BDR junior squad and took third place in the youth race at the German road championships . She repeated this placement in 2014 and won the silver medal in the team pursuit with her team at the German track championships .
As a junior driver, Lippert was nominated for the 2015 road world championships and took 40th place in the road race. In 2016 she became German Mountain Champion and was the sixth overall winner of the Trophée d'Or Féminin and received her first points in the UCI world rankings for adults . At the European Championships in 2016 , Lippert overtook a three-man leading group shortly before the finish and thus became the title holder in the junior road race with a lead of four seconds. At the subsequent road world championships , she was ninth in the junior road race.
With her move to the adult sector in 2017, Lippert signed a contract with the UCI Women's Team Sunweb-Liv ., Which was set for a further 4 years in January 2019. Deakin Women's Race 2018, the 20-year-old Lippert became German champion . She also won the youngsters' classification of the Tour of Thuringia and won the overall classification of the Lotto Belgium Tour on the last stage. Shortly after Lippert finished second overall at the UCI ProSeries Santos Women's Tour 2020, in which she also won the mountain and junior class, she won the Deakin Women's Race as a soloist , which secured her first success in the UCI Women's World Tour .
