UCI world ranking road cycling (women)

The UCI World Ranking road cycling Women was established in 1994 by the International Cycling Union International Cycling Union as road cycling world rankings for drivers introduced and nations. Since 1999 there has also been a separate rating for UCI Women's Teams .

Rules and points scale

The individual world rankings are calculated according to the rules of the UCI as follows (as of the beginning of the 2020 season):

In the individual evaluation , the points achieved in the following races are added to the points account of the respective driver each month and the points from the previous month are deleted.

  • Continental championships
    • Elite, road races: 250 to 3 points for the first 30 riders, individual time trials: 70 to 3 points for the first ten riders
    • U23, road races: 125 to 3 points for the first 20 riders, individual time trials: 50 to 1 points for the first ten riders
    • Team time trial, also mixed relay: 70 to 3 points for the first 10 teams (divided by the female participants who finish the race)
  • National championships:
    • Road races: 100 to three points for the first ten riders
    • Individual time trial: 50 to one point for the first ten riders
  • International races
    • UCI Women's WorldTour : 400 to 8 points for the first 40 riders, stages: 50 to 6 points for the first 10, leadership jersey for stage races and leadership jersey for the WorldTour: 8 points
    • UCI ProSeries: 400 to 8 points for the first 40 riders, stages: 200 to 3 points for the first 30, stages: 25 to 4 points for the first 8, leadership jersey: 5 points
    • Category 1: 80 to 1 points for the first 18 riders, stages: 16 to 2 points for the first eight riders, leadership jersey: 3 points
    • Category 2 and regional games: 40 to 3 points for the first ten riders, stages: 8 to 1 points for the first four riders, leadership jersey: 1 point

For the team ranking , the points scored by the four best riders on a UCI Women's Team are added up. The points are reset to "zero" at the beginning of the season.

For the nation ranking , points scored by the five best drivers are added together.
