Saturn Cycling Team

The Saturn Cycling Team (also Saturn-Shimano and Team Saturn ) was an American cycling team that existed from 1993 to 2003.

In the years 1999-2001 the team was in the UCI category GS-II and 2002-2003 GS-III . Team managers were Tom Schuler , René Wenzel and Jim Copeland .

Levi Leipheimer , who was a member of the team in 1998 and 1999, stated in a statement in 2012 that he was offered EPO for the first time in the Saturn team in the second half of the 1999 season and the use of this doping agent had been discussed in the team.
