William Frischkorn (born June 10, 1981 in Charleston , West Virginia ) is a retired American cyclist .

William Frischkorn began his career in 2000 with the Mercury Cycling Team . After two years he moved to the Saturn Cycling Team and after two more years he joined Colavita Olive Oil-Bolla , where he only stayed one year. From 2005 Frischkorn drove for the American Continental Team TIAA-CREF . At the Grand Prix Cycliste de Beauce in 2006, he finished second on the sixth section. From the 2007 season, Frischkorn drove for the successor team of TIAA-CREF, the Professional Continental Team Slipstream-Chipotle. On the third leg of the 2008 Tour de France, he finished second out of a breakaway group and was honored as the most combative driver. At the end of the 2009 season he ended his active sports career and moved to the management of the Garmin-Slipstream team .
