Nathan O'Neill
Nathan O'Neill (born November 23, 1974 in Sydney ) is a retired Australian cyclist .
Athletic career
O'Neill turned pro in 2000 at Ceramiche Panaria , where he drove for three years. He then drove for one year each at Saturn , Colavita and Navigators Insurance until he joined Health Net-Maxxis in 2006 . He achieved stage wins at the Tour of Sweden , the Tour de Langkawi and the Redlands Bicycle Classic . In the newly created California Tour in 2006, he was fifth overall. At the Commonwealth Games 2002 O'Neill won the bronze medal and at the Commonwealth Games 2006 in Melbourne the gold medal in the individual time trial . Between 2002 and 2007 he was five times Australian time trial champion.
When Elk Grove Tour 2007 in the USA Nathan O'Neill was positive for phentermine tested. He was then banned for 15 months. The International Court of Justice increased the ban in 2008 by an additional two years until August 2010.
