Olympia's tour
The Olympia's Tour is a Dutch stage race in road cycling .
The Olympia's Tour was first held in 1909. Further events took place in 1910 and 1927. The race has only been held annually since 1955, with the exception of 2001, when it was canceled due to foot and mouth disease . The tour has been part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005 and is classified in category 2.2.
The record winner since 2015 is the Dutchman Jetse Bol ; Arie Hassink and Servais Knaven each won the tour twice.
The race got its name from the club that originally organized it. The ASC Olympia , founded in 1898, is the oldest cycling club in the Netherlands, which has world and Olympic champions among its members. Today the race is organized by a foundation set up specifically for this purpose.
