Rudolf Cloud

Rudolf Wolke (born June 9, 1906 in Berlin ; † March 12, 1979 there ) was a German racing cyclist .

Rudolf Wolke was one of the strongest German road racing drivers between the two world wars. He was a professional from 1927 to 1939. In 1927, Wolke won the Grand Opel Prize of Germany , the forerunner of the Tour of Germany , and the Olympia's Tour ahead of Janus Braspennincx .

Also in 1927, Wolke was vice world champion of the amateurs at the UCI road world championships at the Nürburgring behind Jean Aerts from Belgium. In 1928 he won across Thuringia and in 1934 the Württemberg tour . In 1934, 1936 and 1939 he finished second at Berlin – Cottbus – Berlin .

In his hometown of Berlin, he also competed in the six-day race three times , but was only able to achieve fifth place (1931 with Georges Wambst as a partner) as the best result.

His brother Bruno was also a successful racing driver.
