Thomas Berkhout
Thomas Berkhout (born November 22, 1984 in Delft ) is a Dutch cyclist .
Thomas Berkhout began his international career in 2003 with the Dutch cycling team Van Vliet-EBH-Gazelle . In 2006 he was sixth overall in the Olympia's Tour , fourth in Hel van het Mergelland and second in the U23 edition of the Tour of Flanders . In 2007 Berkhout switched to Rabobank Continental and won the overall ranking of the Olympia's Tour for this team. In 2008 he and his team became Dutch champions in the team time trial . At the Tour of Normandy , he was second overall in 2008 and 2009. At the end of the 2009 season he drove as a stagiaire with the Professional Continental Team Vacansoleil , but did not receive a regular contract for 2010. In his last international season 2010, he finished fourth in the Batavus Prorace - again for Team Van Vliet .
