Grand Prix Pino Cerami
The Grand Prix Pino Cerami (short: GP Pino Cerami ) is a Belgian cycling race .
The one-day race is held in and around the Belgian city of Wasmuel , which is why the race is sometimes referred to as the GP Wasmuel . The race was named after the Belgian cyclist Pino Cerami , who was born in Italy. The semi-classic was held for the first time in 1964 and has been held annually at the beginning of April since then. The GP Pino Cerami has been part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005 and is classified in category 1.1. The record winners Joop Zoetemelk , Marco Serpellini and Gerrie Knetemann have each achieved two victories so far. Jan Bratkowski was the only German to win in 2000. So far, Laurent Dufaux , Stephan Joho and Urs Freuler have won from Switzerland .
