Jure Kocjan (born October 18, 1984 ) is a Slovenian racing cyclist .

Jure Kocjan started his international career in 2005 with the Slovenian Continental Team Radenska Rog . He achieved his first international success in 2008 with two stage wins at the Vuelta a Cuba and one stage win at the Tour of Qinghai Lake . In the next few years he won daily sections of smaller stage races , but also the Grand Prix Pino Cerami in 2010 , a one-day race in the UCI category 1.1, and the overall ranking of the Grand Prix Cycliste de Saguenay in 2014 . In 2013 he drove for the Basque UCI ProTeam Euskaltel Euskadi , but could not win any races for this team.

In February 2016, Kocjan was subsequently suspended by the UCI World Cycling Federation on March 8, 2012 because of a doping violation .
