Stephan Joho (born September 5, 1963 in Bremgarten ) is a former Swiss cyclist and cycling trainer.

Stephan Joho's athletic career began as a bike baller at VMC Wohlen . His international racing career started at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles . There he took on the train at the points race (eliminated in the final) and the individual pursuit (21) in part.

From 1986 to 1992 Joho was mainly active as a professional on the street . With 32 victories, he was one of the most successful Swiss racing drivers during this period. He won three stages at the Giro d'Italia , two stage wins at the Tour de Romandie , wore the leadership jersey at the Tour de Suisse for a total of eight days and won the points classification of this tour once. In 1986 he won the Tour of Aragon and in 1989 the Grand Prix Pino Cerami , in 1988 he finished fourth at Paris-Roubaix . He competed several times at world championships on the road and on the track. In 1991 he won the Zurich six-day race together with his childhood friend Werner Stutz .

From 2009 to 2011 Stephan Joho was in charge of the Swiss national road team (U23).
