Marco Serpellini
Marco Serpellini (born August 14, 1972 in Lovere ) is a former Italian cyclist .
Marco Serpellini became Junior World Champion in road racing in Utsunomiya in 1990 . In 1994 he became a professional cyclist with the Italian team Lampre . In 1996 he switched to Panaria for one season and won his first race there, the Grand Prix Pino Cerami . He then drove for Brescialat for two years . In 1998 he repeated his success in the Belgian one-day race and also won the overall ranking of the Tour of Portugal with one stage. Then he moved back to his first team Lampre. In 2000 he won a stage of the Tour of the Basque Country and the Italian one-day race Grand Prix Beghelli . In 2004 he joined the German team Gerolsteiner , with whom he took part in the UCI ProTour in 2005 . In 2006 he rode for the Belgian Professional Continental Team Unibet.com and then retired from cycling.
