Bart Voskamp

Bertus "Bart" Voskamp (born June 6, 1968 in Wageningen , Gelderland ) is a former Dutch cyclist .

In addition to his role as a long-time assistant to the Dutch sprinter Jeroen Blijlevens , he was also able to achieve numerous successes of his own. In 1996 he won a stage of the Tour de France in 1996 , a stage of the Vuelta a España in 1997 and became the Dutch time trial champion in 1999.

Voskamp belonged 1998 Team TVM-Farm Frites , as this as part of the Festina affair during the 1998 Tour de France was excluded. Since January 23, 2006 he has been co-director of the Eneco Tour .

After years of denial, Voskamp admitted in July 2014 that he and his Dutch teammate Jeroen Blijlevens had doped with EPO in 1998 and illegally imported EPO products from Spain into the Netherlands.
