The student man's shield ( Androsace studiosorum , syn .: Androsace primuloides Duby) is a species of the genus Mannsschild ( Androsace ) in the primrose family (Primulaceae).

features

The student man's shield is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 4 to 15 centimeters. It forms aboveground runners. The flower stalks are white-haired and 7 to 20 millimeters long.

The flowering period extends from June to July.

Occurrence

This species occurs in Kashmir and Nepal on alpine slopes at altitudes of 3000 to 4000 meters.
