Jonas Vangenechten (born September 16, 1986 in Lobbes ) is a Belgian racing cyclist in road cycling .

Vangenechten achieved the most important successes of his career in the mass sprint: his most important success to date was in the mass sprint on the fourth stage of the UCI WorldTour race Poland-Rundfahrt 2014 , in which he reached a speed of over 80 km / h. In the same year he won the semi-classic Grand Prix de Fourmies in the sprint ahead of Tom Van Asbroeck and Elia Viviani . On his first participation in a Grand Tour , the Vuelta a España 2016 , he won the chaotic mass sprint on the seventh stage.
