Cesar Bogaert (born October 10, 1910 in Sint Jansteen , † January 13, 1988 in Hulst ) was a Dutch cyclist .

Cesar Bogaert was a professional cyclist from 1928 to 1938. In 1931 and 1934 he was Dutch road racing champion, in 1933 he was runner-up. In 1931 he took second place in the Tour of Flanders , which at that time was still an almost exclusively Belgian domain. He also drove local track races.

Bogaert started several times at the UCI road world championships , in 1931 he finished 13th and in 1932 16th place. These successes met with more resonance in Belgium than in the Netherlands, because Bogaert came from Zeeuws Vlaanderen , the Dutch part of Flanders, and road races were more popular in Belgium than in Bogaert's home country.

After finishing his cycling career, Bogaert became a sought-after mechanic and Derny - pacemaker ; so he looked after, among other things, the later Belgian world champion Theo Verschueren .
