The men's triple jump at the 1946 European Athletics Championships was held on August 22, 1946 in the Bislett Stadium in the Norwegian capital, Oslo .

Two medals, silver and bronze, went to Swedish athletes. The European champion was the Finn Valle Rautio . Second place went to Bertil Johnsson . Bronze went to Arne Åhman .

With the number of participants of nine athletes, a qualification was not necessary. So all three jumpers went to the final together. It is not clear from the sources whether there were three attempts for all participants and then three more jumps for the six best, as is common at the Olympic Games, for example, or whether the mode was different.
