Hannes Sonck
Hannes Sonck (actually Johannes Erik Eiel Sonck; born August 25, 1919 in Antrea , † May 18, 1952 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish decathlete and triple jumper .
At the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 , he was fifth in the triple jump, and in the decathlon at the Olympic Games in London he came in 17th place.
Six times he was Finnish champion in the decathlon (1939, 1940, 1942-1944, 1948) and once each in the long jump (1942) and in the triple jump (1943).
