The men's pole vault at the 1946 European Athletics Championships was held on August 25, 1946 in the Bislett Stadium in the Norwegian capital, Oslo .

The European champion was the Swede Allan Lindberg . Nikolai Osolin from the Soviet Union came in second . The Czechoslovak Jan Bém won the bronze medal.
