Allan Lindberg
John Allan Lindberg (born June 21, 1918 in Västanfors , † May 2, 2004 in Garphyttan , Örebro municipality ) was a Swedish athlete .
After winning the Swedish championship in the pole vault in 1946, Lindberg won the European Championships in Oslo with a Swedish national record of 4.17 meters. In the same year, he improved the record to 4.20 meters, making it 8th in the world's best list of the year. He reached the same height in 1947. At the 1948 Olympic Games in London, he jumped 4.00 meters in qualification, but reached only 3.80 meters in the final and was 12th.
