The men's discus throw at the 1946 European Athletics Championships was held on August 24, 1946 in the Bislett Stadium in the Norwegian capital, Oslo .

In this discipline there was an Italian double victory. European champion was Adolfo Consolini . Second place went to Giuseppe Tosi . Veikko Nyqvist from Finland won the bronze medal.
