Stone Johnson
Stein Johnson (actually Sten Jean Johnson; born October 20, 1921 in Bergen , † April 28, 2012 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian discus thrower .
At the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 he was fifth, at the 1948 Olympic Games in London eighth and fourth at the Euro 1950 in Brussels. In 1952 he retired from qualifying at the Olympic Games in Helsinki .
He was Norwegian champion four times (1946, 1950–1952). He set his personal best of 50.33 m on August 28, 1952 in Copenhagen .
Because of his success as a coach in various sports, he was awarded the Egebergs Ærespris in 2005.
